Our Easter Baskets...

Fabric Buckets, made in to Bunny Easter Baskets

A handmade label inside each bucket

I chose different lining fabrics for each
Want to know how to make your own?
Find my tutorial HERE.
Why stop at Easter! I thought these would be perfect for Halloween buckets as well.

I embroidered "Trick-or-Treat" onto each. I made different handles on these, as you'll see in the images below.

Notice the beads added to the embroidery.

Hard to see in this image, but I used a somewhat sparkly, black trim around the top. I also first wrote "Trick-or-Treat" with a silver Sharpie marker.

You can see the label inside. On each, I wrote the saying "Trick-or-Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat!" as well as the children's name and "Love, Mommy".. of course!
Ready to make your own? I promise you, these are so much easier than you'd expect them to be, and the possibilities are endless.
My inspiration came from...

ReplyDeleteHow cute! I really need to make some of these for my kids. Also, I loved reading your about me on your blogger award post. I love the walmart story (everything is so much more fun with a sister to laugh with). Thanks for linking up with Fun for Kids Friday! http://www.localfunforkids.com/
ReplyDeleteThose are really adorable buckets. I've been into sewing items I can use to organize my things. I hate when an area gets so cluttered that I can't work in it. Sewing baskets and buckets is fun too.

ReplyDeleteFirst, I love that you're already posting Easter stuff, I get bored with holiday posts about a week before the holiday and want to move on to the next one as usually by that point I don't need any more ideas.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I LOVE these baskets. I'm totally bookmarking this to do for my girls. How cute are those floppy ears and that little fluffy tail! Good thing easter is a little later this year to give me some time. Hehe.
Ooh now these I like! I may have to make my own easter bucket for the baby. :)
