Summer Reading Inspirations

Summer is here!  It is important to me that my kids are reading over the summer months.  One of my three children loves to read.  So what can I do to facilitate reading for the other two?  How can I make it easy and fun, and create some form of incentive to get my non-book loving children just as excited?  Well, that is my mission this week.  Here are the amazing ideas I've find online that I'm using to come up with a system that works in our home.

From creating the space, collecting the books, logging and rewarding... perhaps even throwing a book party?  Lots of great ideas here!  I hope you find some inspiration too!

  3. There is a fantastic, free site called wegivebooks.org that kids can read books from online (ipad will work). For every book a child reads the org donates a book to a child in a third world country. There are wonderful, quality books on here. Give it a try!
