Summer Fun & Learning ~ GIVEAWAY!

~ Giveaway Details Below ~

Welcome to this year's Summer Scholars Series!  For the next 6 Sundays I will be sharing with you a fun and educational activity from my 12 Week Summer Learning Program!  Over the summer months, children are at risk of losing some of the skills they have learned through the school year.  This has been named Summer Learning Loss.  Teachers spend the first months of the school year helping students to regain the skills they have lost over the summer months.  If you had a way to help your child keep their mind active, and practicing these skills to retain them over the summer months, would you??

My Summer Program was created for two reasons.... ONE, to engage my children in Fun and Educational activities over the summer months... and TWO, to keep me from going INSANE!  A house with three bored kids, on hot summer days, for 10 weeks or more, can be a lot for mom to take.  I wanted a way to make sure that our summer had some structure to it.  I poured myself into creating this program so it was not only fun for your kids, but it was well organized and easy for any busy mom to implement, regardless of the number or ages of the kids in the home.

So that is what I have to offer you today!  My 12 Week Summer Learning Program has 12 themed weeks, each with 20 activities that are quick and easy, and most of all FUN!  The activities are best suited for children ages 4-8, but you can stretch many of the activities to cover even a broader range.  Use these in your home, in a daycare, for preschool, kindergarten or primary education curriculum, even day camp activities!

  1. I have a great friend who, like myself, is a foreign national with no family living within anything but flying distance, and therefore neither of us have anyone to whom we can farm the kids out to for a day or so over the summer, so the days become very long indeed. I would give the second set to her.
